This particular type of Pine exists in several forms throughout Western North America. It can be found mainly on high plateaus and mountain slopes. Ponderosa Pine can be pale red but is usually almost white, allowing for the color of most stains to be achieved! I personally enjoy working with this type of wood when crafting Art Vendor Boxes!
